Hacker Unit is excited to get the new year underway! In the first quarter of 2017, the HU remote Robotics accelerator will get underway with startups from all over the world joining in. If you have a robotics startup that has already launched or is prepared to launch, from pre-seed to Series A stage, this program may be for you!
Hacker Unit was started based on the idea that talent, and not location, is most important when founding a startup. Not everyone can make it to Silicon Valley but that shouldn’t be the reason you can’t get access to useful business connections and tips to help you get to the next level. As an online accelerator, Hacker Unit aims to support startups by connecting them with knowledgeable mentors, corporates and investors. The program values transparency by taking no equity and offering this program for free. The model consists in contribution commission when startups get deals out of the program, so everyone is aligned on the success of the startups accepted. They also pride themselves on being a completely remote accelerator. Hacker Unit promises to stay focused on your industry starting with the mentors who are founders of successful and growing startups in robotics. These people have been in your shoes and will be able to provide you with legitimate direction.
Mentors will share their entrepreneurial experience and insights with the startups during AMA sessions. Some have already be announced. Participants will have the chance to interact with Samay Kohli, Co-Founder and CEO of Grey Orange, Jeremy Fishel, CTO at SynTouch, Ian Bernstein, Founder and CTO of Sphero, Mike Lewis, CTO at NanoRacks, and Jeff McAlvay, Co-Founder and CEO of Tempo Automation. More to be announced!
If your Robotics startup can benefit from an accelerator program focused on improving your business materials, connecting you with investors, experimenting with corporations, and learning from successful founders, go ahead and APPLY NOW. The deadline is JANUARY 15, act soon!
